The Czech Republic-based gaming provider, Bragg Gaming Group, has obtained authorization in Ontario, clearing the path for the firm to furnish its offerings and technological solutions to operators within the region. The regulatory body, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO), issued the permit, encompassing Bragg’s player account management platform (PAM) in addition to its iGaming and sports wagering catalog. This marks a substantial stride for Bragg, as Ontario is projected to emerge as one of the most sizable iGaming markets within North America upon its commencement on April 4th.
Chris Looney, Chief Commercial Officer at Bragg Gaming, addressed the company’s preparations for the Ontario market, emphasizing their recent deployments in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands as crucial indicators of their preparedness. He remarked, “This authorization represents yet another notable achievement for Bragg. We are now strategically situated to bolster our Canadian collaborators as the market gears up for its opening.”
Armed with this license, Bragg Gaming will have the capacity to collaborate with licensed business-to-consumer operators within the province, a cohort that already encompasses prominent entities such as Rivalry Corporation, PointsBet, theScore Bet (a subsidiary of Penn National Gaming), and 888 Holdings.
Wayne Rooney conveyed his enthusiasm for the Ontario internet gambling sector, remarking that Borg recognizes significant opportunity within it. He emphasized that securing a vendor permit in Ontario will enable Borg to bring its offerings to a market demonstrating substantial demand from numerous providers.
