The Hard Rock Casino in Atlantic City is undergoing a leadership transformation. Industry veteran George Goldhoff will assume the role of President, while Mike Sampson takes over as General Manager.
Goldhoff’s extensive background includes successful tenures at renowned establishments like New York’s Rainbow Room and the Plaza Hotel. Hard Rock International Chairman Jim Allen expressed complete faith in Goldhoff, emphasizing his exceptional accomplishment of turning the Cincinnati casino into a market frontrunner within three years. Allen anticipates Goldhoff’s guidance will elevate the Atlantic City team to new levels of success.
Sampson also brings a wealth of expertise, having previously held positions with Trump Entertainment Resorts and Seneca Gaming Corporation.
One of Atlantic City’s largest, the Hard Rock Casino emerged from the former Trump Taj Mahal casino in 2018, signifying a fresh start for the legendary boardwalk site.
Separately, Hard Rock International maintains its charitable endeavors, recently generating over $1 million for breast cancer research through its 23rd annual Pinktober initiative.
During October, Hard Rock venues worldwide – including eateries, lodgings, and even gaming establishments – pulled out all the stops for a worthy endeavor. We’re talking about special menus, unique merchandise, and even songwriting competitions! The goal was to generate funds for an issue close to Hard Rock’s core values. They have a long history of championing philanthropic efforts, particularly when it comes to increasing knowledge and support during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
