Playtech has inked a fresh agreement with Norsk Tipping, Norway’s national lottery operator, to supply online casino and video lottery terminal (VLT) games. This arrangement further solidifies the long-standing strategic alliance between the two organizations.
The deal was finalized following two public bidding procedures. Playtech has been furnishing online casino games to Norsk Tipping since 2016 and VLT platforms, games, terminals, and services since 2003. This new accord will witness the partnership expand and flourish in each product domain.
The new online casino agreement signifies that Norsk Tipping will gain access to Playtech’s expanding collection of cutting-edge online casino games, encompassing titles from its potent Playtech game studios, such as Origins, Quickspin, Vikings, Rarestone, and Ash.
The VLT games agreement will see Playtech furnish its VLT game portfolio to Norsk Tipping’s terminals across Norway.
Playtech is set to introduce its top-tier VLT titles to the Norwegian gaming market. They will collaborate with Norsk Tipping to craft exclusive games tailored specifically for Norway.
Playtech’s chief executive, Shimon Akad, remarked that their games have garnered significant popularity among Norsk Tipping’s clientele. He expressed enthusiasm for continuing to provide them with fresh gaming experiences. His aim is to deliver the most compelling online and retail games for their players.
Akad further emphasized that these agreements underscore Playtech’s prowess in crafting games for both online casinos and VLTs. They excel in navigating markets like Norway and other Nordic nations where gambling is subject to regulation. He stated Playtech’s commitment to fostering robust partnerships with prominent entities in legally sanctioned gambling jurisdictions.
Hans Erland Ringsvold, who oversees the gaming division of Norsk Tipping, conveyed their delight in continuing their collaboration with Playtech. They eagerly anticipate integrating Playtech’s online casino and VLT games onto their platform. He believes Playtech’s extensive experience in diverse gambling regulatory landscapes will be immensely beneficial to Norsk Tipping. He asserted that this collaboration will facilitate their attainment of gaming objectives.
